Grupo Éxito, the Latin American subsidiary of Groupe Casino, has been working towards upgrading its services with new technology in the retail sector, focusing primarily on two things: improving customer satisfaction and developing new digital capabilities as an organisation. In Colombia, the retailer recently successfully launched two new mobile eGrocery apps for the Éxito and Carulla brands which jointly have been downloaded over a million times since launch in the last quarter. Éxito claims to be seeing strong takeup for its eGrocery offer, especially among younger Colombian shoppers.
