Spanish market leader Mercadona, which recently launched an online grocery service in Valencia, is building a dedicated online warehouse in Barcelona in readiness for an expansion of the offer. This platform, developed by the Goodman Group, covers an area of ??10,500 square metres, with 2,500 square metres for fresh products, including a cold storage area for refrigerated and frozen products that require temperatures below -20ºC.
