Dixy has reported its second quarter (Q2) and first half (H1) 2014 unaudited results for the period ending 30 June 2014.

Q2 Results
Dixy reported group sales of RUB 57.1 billion (USD 1.6 billion), an increase of 26.7% year-over-year (y-o-y).

  • The Victoria division reported sales increased 17.5% to RUB 7.3 billion (USD 410 million).
    • Supermarkets reported sales increased 21.5% to RUB 5.9 billion (USD 330 million).
    • Neighborhood stores reported sales increased 1.6%% to RUB 1.2 billion (USD 65 million).
    • CASH cash and carry reported sales increased 16% to RUB 245 million (USD 12 million).
  • Megamart Division reported sales increased 6.4% to RUB 4.2 billion (USD 232 million).
    • Megamart reported sales increased 8.1% to RUB 3.3 billion (USD 185 million).
    • MiniMart stores reported sales decreased 2.2%% to RUB 864 million (USD 46 million).
  • Net Profit increased four times to RUB 1.3 billion (USD 37.1 million)


H1 Results

  • Dixy reported group sales of RUB 107 billion (USD 2.3 billion), an increase of 22.4% y-o-y.
    • The Victoria division reported that sales increased 14.7% to RUB 14.3 billion (USD 410 million).
    • Supermarkets reported sales increased 19% to RUB 11.5 billion (USD 330 million).
    • Neighborhood stores reported sales decreased 1.5%% to RUB 2.3 billion (USD 65 million).
    • CASH cash and carry reported sales increased 9.5% to RUB 448 million (USD 12 million).
  • Megamart Division reported sales increased 6.4% to RUB 8.1 billion (USD 232 million).
    • Megamart reported sales increased 8.6% to RUB 6.4 billion (USD 185 million).
    • MiniMart stores reported sales decreased 1.5%% to RUB 1.6 billion (USD 46 million).
  • Net Profit increased three times to RUB 2 billion (USD 56.2 million)


Stores and Selling Area
As of 30 June 2014, Dixy Group operated 1,944 stores, including 1,842 neighborhood stores, 43 Victoria supermarkets, 45 Victoria neighborhood stores, 1 CASH, 20 Megamart stores, 11 Minimart stores.
Total selling area increased 21% reaching 659,903 square meters at the end of the reported period.
Starting 1st November 2013 the opening hours of most DIXY stores was reduced.
